The Lake Images Patient App serves as a secure platform for patients to access their medical imaging results and request appointments at various Lake Imaging radiology clinics across Victoria.

This application enables patients to conveniently view and share their results with family members and healthcare professionals. Once an examination is completed and the results are available, a notification will be sent via SMS or email, prompting users to activate their account and establish a secure password.

Provided that permission has been granted by the referring doctor, most results are typically accessible about seven days after being reported by a Lake Imaging Radiologist. However, obstetric ultrasound images can be viewed approximately three hours post-examination.

It is important to note that referring doctors will have immediate access to patients' images and reports upon their availability. Patients are always encouraged to discuss their results with their referring doctors directly.

Upon account activation, users will receive notifications for future results available through the app. This feature allows patients to maintain a personal record of their radiology results, accessible from any location at any time.

The ‘Request an Appointment’ functionality provides a streamlined process for scheduling visits to radiology clinics. Users can select the required imaging service, preferred location, time, and date, and upload a photo of the referral form from their doctor. Subsequently, a member of the staff will reach out to confirm the appointment.
